Recently, the world population reached 7 billion.

Many people are worried because we won't have enough space and food,

fortunately, scientists at NASA recently discovered and Earth-like planet outside our solar system.

The planet is called "Kepler 22b." It is 600 light years away.

The planet contains both land and water.

It also has a similar temperature to Earth's at around 22 degrees Celsius.

According to NASA, it can be a potential home for mankind!

"We are very happy and excited to unveil the discovery of the new planet," said William Borucki at NASA.

"It is 2.4 time the size of Earth. We are certain that the new planet is in the habitable zone and has a nice temperature," he added.

The sicentists found the new Earth using NASA's Kepler telescope, which is on board the Kepler spacecraft.
